All You Need to Know about The Chinese Spring Festival

Sunrise Families--the Chinese Spring Festival is--Friday, February 10th from 5-7:30pm.  
  • FOOD ORDERS (Jane's Rolling Wok) for the festival are due by Friday, February 3rd.  The meals are served in bowls $6 each and must be pre-ordered!  Please turn in your order form and check/cash in an envelope to the FFO box in the front office.  Hard copies of the food order form are also available in the office.  Meals will be ready for pick up (by student last name) the night of the festival.  ***Food order form attached in Friday Flash
  • WE NEED PARENT VOLUNTEERS!!!!  In order for the festival to run smoothly, we desperately need parent volunteers the evening of the festival.  We need more help! Especially at the festival sales table (t-shirt and bottled water sales) and the book fair sales.  Please sign up to volunteer through the FFO website/volunteer link:

Come help us celebrate Sunrise Drive Elementary’s 4th annual Chinese Spring Festival on February 10th from 5-7:30pm. Our staff, parents, and students have been working hard to make this year’s festival incredible—there will cultural activities and crafts, beautiful decorations, Sunrise t-shirts for sale, China Sprout book fair, Chinese food, and performances from the Sunrise Choir, Chinese immersion students K-4, and some incredible guest performances from Chinese performers in Tucson! We have LOTS of volunteer opportunities for Sunrise families, before, during and after the event--from decorating the school, setting up activities, t-shirt tables, and clean up crew, etc. For families who have children who will be performing, please consider your volunteer availability based on your child’s performance times: FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 10th Performance 1 (5:30-6pm): Kindergarten & 2nd grade Performance 2 (6:15-6:45pm): 1st & 4th grade Performance 3 (7:00-7:30pm): Choir & 3rd grade Festival (food, activities/game
