Dear Sunrise Families,
We
are so excited to have your students back at school! We return to school preparing for many fun
events. Bring your family and join us in the MPR for Science Night
with Brain S.T.E.M! This event will be held on Friday,
January 20 at 6:00 PM. In addition to the fun and educational science
show, this is the kick-off to the Sunrise Drive Science and Inquiry Fair
scheduled for March 6-8 and culminating with Science Inquiry Day
on March 9! There will be information available at Science Night
regarding science projects as well as how you can get involved. Hope to
see you there!
This year the Science Inquiry Day
will be March 9. If you, or someone you know, works in a STEM
related field and would be interested in presenting to a group of
students, (one class, one grade level, or more), or if you have any questions,
please contact Ritu at ritu@email.arizona.edu.
If you are interested in helping with either the Science Fair or Science
Inquiry Day, please contact Anne at annelukas5@gmail.com.

We would like to thank you for following our parking lot safety
procedures:
o
Parking and
walking to the Sammy the Snake area to pick up your child or using the six
loading spaces with care.
o
Refraining from
using cell phones in the parking lot while maneuvering your car.
o
Yielding to
pedestrians.
o
Using the
visitor/parent lot only. The staff lot
is designed for buses only during drop off and pick-up.
Registration is now open to
neighborhood students. Families should have received an email from the district
with link. If you need assistance, please contact our office staff at 209-7901.
Thank you to those families who have completed the process including submitting
on the proper paperwork. This process determines our teacher to student ratio.
